The Irish were hungry for a victory in the LWBL and they got one Thursday night, as they defeated the previously undefeated Wolverines by the score of 50-44. The Irish got off to a fast start with Claire F. scoring 10 first quarter points. The Wolverines were able to cut the lead down to 3 points in the 2nd half but the Irish were able to put it away with some key free throws from Matthew F. in the 4th quarter. With the win, the Irish move to 1-3 on the season. The Wolverines record goes to 3-1 with the loss. Leading the scoring for the Irish was Dylan R. with 16 points, not far behind was Claire F. with 14 points. Anthony G. added 8 points, Dami I. with 6 points, Matthew F. with 4 points, and Andre M. added 2 points. The Wolverines were led in scoring by Joe S. with 25 points. Also scoring for the Wolverines were Cassie N. and Cade P. with 6 points each, Anthony M. with 3 points, and Hailey F., and Chloe Z. with 2 points each.
