Illini move to 2-0 with win over Fighting Irish

In a game that featured lots of good defense and not much scoring, the Illini came away with an 18-12 LWBL victory Tuesday night. The loss drops the Irish to 0-2 on the season. With the Irish trailing by 2 for most of the 4th quarter, the Illini defense would not allow the Irish to tie or take the lead, as the Illini closed out the game with some strong defense. The Illini were led in scoring by Andrew K. with 6 points. Also scoring points for the Illini were Ryan W., and Josie A., with 4 points each, Max S. with 2 points, and Max D., and Miguel G. with 1 point each.
