Wildcats win first game of the 2012 LWBL season

The Irish and the Wildcats opened the 2012 LWBL season on Tuesday night. The first two quarters of the game were back and forth with the Wildcats holding on to a 4 point halftime lead. The Irish were able to tie the score going into the 4th quarter but the Wildcats answered with a huge run to close out the game and win 26-17. The Wildcats were led in scoring by Ian K. with 10 points, Dalton A. with 6 points, Devrion S. and Mallory A. with 4 points and Owen H. with 2 points. Scoring points for the Irish were Dylan R. with 9 points, Claire F. with 4, Matt F. with 3, and Sam W. and Anthony G. with 1 point each. Congratulations to both teams on a well played game.
